House check on 20/06/2015

With fingers crossed and daily prayers to my Godmother, I anticipate the day I can finally move in. Sounds like I am really desperate hoh.... actually the process is as enjoyable as the destination....not.

The real estate people are having weekly house inspections now so I have decided to use those inspections to see my little unit. It also gives me an opportunity to measure the area which is also a good excuse haha.. it feels weird to need to come up with an excuse to see my own unit.

Anyway very happy to see more stuff done. Wardrobes installed. As you can see it's so small, confirmed will need chest of drawers to compliment it. And not any drawer, it is must be one that fits the corner that I am thinking off. Since I have 2 wardrobes (one in each room) maybe I can use one for thick winter clothes and one for thin summery clothes. But will still need drawers on top of current tall boy.

And look at my kitchen~! Stove and oven is in! Now just missing dishwasher. Actually the toilet also done already but I must be too excited that my hand shock. Picture came out blur. :(

A bit disappointed to see they no give me Splashback walls. So now I have to put kling wrap on my kitchen wall to prevent the oil from going into my grouting. But when I thought of the little things they did like giving me a door cupboard to hang my coat, umbrella and shoes, stone kitchen bench and a extra desk area, it's very hard to stay disappointed for long. I console myself that the money saved from splashback goes onto these extra stuff. No free lunch after all.

The view from my window is also spectacular though that day was pretty foggy day. Otherwise you can see really far as my unit sits on top of a slop. Unfortunately I won't get to enjoy this when I move in as they will install privacy filters to protect the much lower neighbors. Sigh ~ Faster snap a photo for keepsake.

As I exit the building, I also snap a photo of carpark. It looks bright and airy now but it will be dark once all the walls are done. I hope they leave some filters for natural light.

Ah I can't wait to see the final result! C'mon guys...work on it!
